(08:00 AM) Depart from the Safari Tours office or your hotel in Manado for Tomohon, starting with a visit to Vihara Buddhayana near Gardenia Country Inn, followed by a stop in Woloan to see traditional Minahasan knock-down style wooden houses being built for shipment. Continue to the base of Mount Mahawu for a one-hour trek to the crater rim, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Bunaken, Manado Tua, and Manado Bay, and observe the steaming sulfur lake below. Afterwards, explore Tomohon’s traditional food and flower market before enjoying lunch by the peaceful Lake Tondano. The journey continues to Pulutan Village for pottery making or to Toraget Hot Springs, followed by a visit to local weaving workshops. The final stop is Lake Linow, the famous color-changing lake, where you can relax and take in the unique scenery.
