Located in North Sulawesi, Mount Soputan is an active volcano surrounded by forest and natural volcanic landscapes. The area includes tropical trees, pine forest, and open ground formed by past eruptions. During the trek, you will walk through a mix of forest paths and open areas, with views toward the crater from a safe distance. The trek is moderate and suitable for those with a good level of fitness.
We depart early in the morning from your hotel in Manado and drive to the starting point. After a short preparation, the trek begins through forest and volcanic terrain, taking around three hours to reach a safe viewpoint near the peak.
At the top, you will have time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the views of the volcano and the surrounding area. After that, we descend back to basecamp and continue with lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.
